Can anyone leave a review?

No. Review invitations are sent only to customers with a completed, paid order, and each submission is matched back to that order reference before it can be published. Unsolicited reviews sent by email or social media are not added to the site, because we have no reliable way of confirming that the sender used the service.

Do you remove negative reviews?

Only when a review breaches the law or our publishing rules — for example if it names a third party, contains abuse, or cannot be matched to an order. Criticism of our price, speed or the insurer's decision stays up. Where a review raises something we can fix, we respond to the customer directly and, where it is useful to other readers, publish the outcome alongside it.

Customer reviews and how we verify them

We would rather show you a smaller number of checked reviews than a vague claim about being trusted by thousands. This page explains exactly where our feedback comes from and how you can check it yourself.

Where the reviews come from

Every review shown on this site is submitted by someone who has completed a paid order with Bluebird Insurance. Requests are sent by email after the insurer has responded to the request we forwarded, so the reviewer is commenting on the whole experience and not just the checkout screen.

We do not buy reviews, we do not use stock testimonials, and we do not offer discounts, entries into prize draws or any other incentive in exchange for feedback.

How each review is verified

Before a review appears we match the email address on the submission to an order reference in our system. Reviews that cannot be matched to an order are not published. Reviewers are shown by first name and surname initial to protect their privacy, which is standard practice for UK insurance feedback.

How often reviews are updated

The selection shown on the homepage is refreshed monthly and always reflects feedback received in the previous twelve months. Older reviews are retired rather than left in place indefinitely, because our service, pricing and insurer panel change over time.

Third-party review platforms

Where we quote a score from an independent platform such as Trustpilot or Google, we name the platform, the score and the date it was captured. If a figure on this site is not attributed to a named platform, treat it as feedback collected directly by us and verified as described above.

Reporting a review

If you believe a review is not genuine, email complaints@bluebirdinsurance.co.uk with the reviewer name and the page it appears on. We remove any review we cannot re-verify against an order while we investigate, and we tell you the outcome.
